Kites & Tricycles

OK, I'm gonna slip some Mindflux in here. Back in the 80's I was all about the 60's, and consequently wore my influences on my paisley sleeve for all to see/hear. There was a lot of cross-pollination of influences going on back then, so while I was raving on about some obscuro psych outfit, Sook was probably doing the same (or some obscuro new wave outfit, or glam outfit, or...) The upshot is that this is an early stab at British Psychedelicism from us, and the response it prompts from me at this vantage point is "Huh. I really only did know two chords back then, didn't I?"
Al: Vox, Keys
Sook: Backing Vox, Drums
Scott: Guitar
Andy Hammond: Guitar
Dave Minken: Backing Vox, Bass

"Fade, fade, FADE, FADE, FADE!" -- UUTV control room chatter, end of taping of "Kites and Tricycles" video, 1988-89 school year
Heh, heh, heh! I'd forgotten about that. Whew! Good times.
That's nothin' -- the other day I came across the (c. 1983) Philadelphia Phillies baseball cap Mr. Sookman wore in the MTV-spoof episode of "Null and Void."
As I told a family friend during intermission at a Broadway show only last Saturday, I have lousy seats to the Phillies this season -- they're facing the field. Thank you, you've been a great audience! I'll be here all week! Tip the waitress!
