Talkin' To A Jar

Talkin' To A Jar

(Sookman)

Mindflux time again. Y'know, now that Little Steven's "Underground Garage" is hot and happening, there are all kinds of Scandanavians out there exploiting the sound of good ol' USA 60's punk. Just let it be known that we were in the FIRST wave of exploitation back in the 80's, and we're damn proud of it.
Here, Mr. Sookman scores with his Standellian tale of young love and prescription medication (I think). Good stuff; also contains my first (and last) recorded attempt at playing the harmonica, which sounds like it should be on life support. I wisely stuck to keys on the rehearsals and live version of this track, which I will post imminently.

Sook: Vox & percussion
Al; Keys & harmonica
Andy Hammond: Guitar
Dave Minken: Bass

Yeah, a simple plot:

Baby, I wanna come over to your 60's suburban ranch home and $*#&$^ you. You're mother's there, but she's so zonked out on prescription meds, she won't notice. And dad's away on business.
