Y'know, I haven't really taken a potshot at the Goth genre for a while. That's a shame, really, because if any genre is humorless and ripe for parody it's that one. So here ya go, a little sumthin' purposefully designed to sound like bad Depeche Mode (I know there's inherent redundancy in that statement, but let's roll with it for now). Aficionados may argue that DM is not "true Goth" and namecheck several dozen bands I've never heard of. Fine. Get yer own blog.

HA HA!!! This is a fantastic cut! Sounds nothing like you! Wait, was that an unintentional insult? No, I meant, it sounds like a professional goth track! Really entertaining stuff. Has sort of a "goth meets lounge" feel with the cocktail-ish piano. If you end up doing a "Best of 365" CD (think about it...) this one should really definitely go on there. A keeper.
Hey, welcome back, man! I was wondering where you had slipped off to, but luckily I had some of the other regulars here to keep me company.
I'm glad you were involved with something productive! I will echo your shameless plug and encourage everyone to check out Scott's new novel...the dude can WRITE, and a splendid time is guaranteed for all!
As for a "best of", heck, I'd love to put together a BOX, but most people would probably only have patience for a single CD, so probably best to concentrate on that. Thanks for the feedback, keep it comin'!
