Damage Control

Well, it's a good thing I'm sitting here in my underground bunker plonking away at my keyboard, as aboveground I'm sure cries of "Bring me the head of Rex Grossman!!" are resounding out into the night. Not a happy day for Chicago football fans, but hey, we're all about the music here!
Al: Touchdown!

He he, thanks for the comments on the music. Far out space stuff, I dig it!
And, yeah, too bad about the game. I caught the last part of it and was rooting for them till the end....
And those first 6 seconds of the game looked so promising. But I think we all know the real reason they lost, yes?
That's right... the total and complete absence of any Superbowl Shuffle. I mean, jeez... it worked once, why turn your back on it now??
I never could've imagined a day where I'D be posting about football on AL's blog. We're through the looking glass, people...
It's a strange world, now, my friend. I've even joined a gym...expect the other Horsemen of the Apocalypto any day now.
Of course, I missed most of the game for musical reasons...I was practicing the Superbowl Shuffle myself. All that work for nothing.
On the plus side, SU grads Dwight Freeney & Marvin Harrison now have Super Bowl rings...
Which is good, but I'll have to exult in private. Within the Chicago city limits, any reaction other than mourning is punishable by a stiff fine or revocation of all but one of my votes in the next mayoral election.
