Amazing Grace
(Trad.)
And another new direction for 365: I'm currently taking some piano lessons to learn how to play the "correct" way (as opposed to the normal plonking around I do to come up with this stuff) and this is one of my practice pieces. So I add some synth strings and vocals and presto!: another 365 piece. Multitasking!
Your Mileage May Vary (Demo #2: Nu Wave)
(Morgan-Wall)
Another YMMV demo, this one in a more new wave style. I recorded these on the same day to see what each approach would be like. Turns out we wound up recording both versions in the studio...how's that for mileage?

I LOVE Your Mileage May Vary Song. You sound a bit like the Mayor of Charlotte (Pat McCrory) in the very start of the song, which kind of freaked me out. But this song well it is GREAT! Clever lyrics.
I may even 365ed it myself, if that's O.K. with you. Right now I'm trying to do a Lentian thing - 40 spritiual songs.
Hey, cool, thanks, lolololo! If'n you want a more "polished" version of YMMV, we did a couple of 'em in a 16-track studio some time back, and I'll be happy to send you MP3s if you're interested.
I'm unfamiliar with Pat McCrory (I'm way up here in Chi-town), but that coincidence is kinda freaky. Hope I don't have to pay royalties...
BTW, I urge you folks to check out lolololo's 365 days music site "Dancing About Architecture" at http://dancingaboutarchitecture365.blogspot.com/, or follow the link on my main page. Very cool music & words, and it visually trumps my site by a country mile. Check it out.
Ha' see that's freaky too. I'm originally from Chi-town and yes I even miss the snow, we don't get much here in Charlotte. But mostly I miss the Chicago's music scene...
Gosh, that "Trad" composer guy wrote EVERYTHING!
Yeah, I want his royalty check. He's welcome to mine...
