The Jig Is Up

The Jig Is Up

(Morgan)

In honor of St. Paddy's Day I've come up with something that sounds vaguely like Rick Wakeman performing a faux-Irish jig on Ecstasy while accompanied by a bevy of dentists' drills. You're welcome.

This is much better than your description made me suspect. Actually, it sounds a hell of a lot like Gershon Kingsley, and is quite enjoyable for this sort of thing. Maybe all those years of listening to "Cold Duck" rubbed off?

You should try to wedge your way into the culty subcult of Moog/analog synth practioner/worshippers. Send Dana Countryman a copy of this pronto.

This great-great-grandson of a leader of the 1860s Irish Fenian movement salutes you this St. Patrick's Day weekend!

I gotta get up to speed on my subgenres, since I don't know who Dana Countryman is. Just shows you how old I'm getting; a few years ago I would have at least pretended to know who you were talking about...time to Google! I promise I'll study up next time.

Eric, the answer to your quiz is, of course, "Babe, This Renegade is Dust in the Wind, So Turn Some Pages" by REO Styxjourney. Or maybe it was Triumph of the QueenSaga or even Foreignesis, I always get those guys confused...

And happy belated St. Paddy's day to Mr. Milner. All I know about my Emerald Isle ancestors is that one of them was a sheep farmer. At least he was doing honest work, unlike his blogging descendant...
