You Haunt Me

You Haunt Me

(Morgan-Sookman)

Two words: Moody Blues. Psychedelic, maaaaaan!

Amiable enough, and Sook did a nice job on coming up with appropriately florid lyrics for the task at hand. Taking it at midtempo gives it almost kind of a sea chanty feel. Ahoy, mateys!

BTW, this here's the 100th song (counting the introductory post). Whoo-hoo! Excelsior, as Stan the Man might say...

Al: Vox, guitar
Sook: Percussion
Dave; Guitar, Bass, drums

Wow. Hadn't heard that one for some time. This is one to play for the grownups. No, that's good. Not everything has to be smarmy.

I think I caught a bit of a sound like "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" in there. Gordon Lightfoot, an unknown influence on Pop Machine?

Yeah, I caught that same vibe, actually. Oddly, another 365 installment some weeks back (can't remember which one) reminded me of the same thing after I had recorded it, at least from a melodic standpoint. I guess I need to learn some more chords on the guitar (as if 4 weren't enough!)
