J'ai Un Valise Fourré Avec Dégoût (I Have A Valise Crammed With Disgust)

J'ai Un Valise Fourré Avec Dégoût (I Have A Valise Crammed With Disgust)
(Morgan-Sookman)

In which I pick up the gauntlet inadvertantly thrown down here. Quite frankly, a concept such as this deserves to be taken the extra step, so I have taken the liberty of translating it into (undoubtedly fractured) French.

Or: in which we find that the root of all things punk turns out to be Plastic Bertrand after all. Newly mixed into SQ Quad for you Punk Rock/Surround Sound Francophiles.

Al: Tambour, Vocals, Guitares

It's Sid Vichyssoise!

And yes, I did have to look up the spelling on that.

This is probably my favorite thing you've done since I dunno when, and I'm not just saying that because I came up with the title. I would like to hear an entire album of this. A few covers of The Damned and The Clash in Francais, and a few originals. Make a fake French name for you, claim it's a "lost" French punk album from 1980 and put it out there. The fact that the French is probably "off" a little only adds to the charm.

I like this guy!! French Punk Rock!! RULEZ!!

I hereby accept your challenge. The Sid Vichyssoise Experience will be submitting further works for your collective review over the life of the blog.

Now gimme some more song titles, you goons! I relish the thought of more crazy to work with. Zut alors!
