I wanted to try something a capella, so dig this semi-improvised faux-zen piece (dig it, man); being in the moment is on my mind a lot lately. We veer perilously close to "Renegade" by Styx once or twice here (unintentionally), but hopefully you can forgive me.

Wow!
Just the kind of out-of-left-field concept and performance guaranteed to baffle music critics and give you instant credibility. Certainly quirky without being at all silly. I bet this will impress people. One of the best examples you have brought forth of my theory that (in songwriting) simple is better.
This one's a keeper. Definitely deserves a place on the solo album.
Eric: Heh heh, I like those names, cuz. They just might wind up on the site again some time.
Scott: Thanks, man, I'm happy to baffle. Anything I can do to learn at the feet of Sookman is a good thing in my book. And the solo album will come after the Pop Machine box set...
